AiBrow
As browsers were looking to build AI in, we built AiBrow: a browser extension that let web applications use local, on-device models, so features like summarising and drafting could run privately on the user's own machine.
Previous work
Chrome and Chromium now ship built-in AI models for the same job, which is the outcome we were working towards. AiBrow is no longer maintained; its source code remains available as an archived repository.
The same idea runs through our work today: capable AI running where the data is. We now do that at the model layer, for private and on-premises deployments.
